An Overview of the Key Problems of the Globalized World Through Ethics for Development Amartya Sen is one of the most influential economists of the 21st
Century, winning the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1998 for his
work restoring an ethical dimension to discussions of contemporary
economic issues. Bernardo Kliksberg is considered a pioneer in
development ethics, social capital and corporate social responsibility
and has been an advisor to several different governments and the
United Nations on issues related to poverty. He is considered “the
world guru of corporate social responsibility”.
